Lets discuss about the recreation spots and the famous parks of Scottsdale AZ first. In the future blogs I would take up the location separately. One of the best locations to visit in Scottsdale AZ is its Indian Bend Park. The beauty of park gives every reason to visit it once and has something to enjoy for everyone. The park runs for almost 6 miles along the road.
Among the best of this park is the golf course, a beautiful lake for people who wants to enjoy fishing, a skate park for the people who love skating. For sports lovers, there are basketball and volleyball courts, for the people with dogs; there are miles and miles of sidewalk. There is also a dog park for the people who love to spend time with beautiful dogs. The sidewalks are also great for people who want to enjoy bike rides.
The place is a must visit and one could spend a lot of time here doing all types of activities or enjoy the nature. If you love fishing then you should not miss this location in Scottsdale AZ.

Scottsdale is located in the heart of heart of Arizona
the "valley of sun". You would get a whopping 85% of daylight hours in Scottsdale. In summer the temperature is a bit hot but you could enjoy toasty in the winter. You could visit anytime in the year but if you have low tolerance to heat then best time to visit is between July and August.
During January a host of events takes place in Scottsdale
like Bird's Nest Music Fest and also Open Gold Tournament that can accommodate 8000 people under a gigantic tent. In April there is Valley Jazz Festival which attracts swingers from all over America. Here musicians interact with the audience and it gives great experience to have a close proximity with the musicians you love. In March you could enjoy US West National Festival which is a wannable cowboy must visit. There is Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in February where more then 1700 horses compete. In the same month you could enjoy Scottsdale Fine Arts and Chocolate Festival where visitors stuff their faces with chocolates. In November you have Thunderbird Balloon Classic where you could watch spectacular balloons and enjoy the music as well.

For 8000 years, Scottsdale was the home for Native Americans. For 6 centuries, Hohokam Indians built great civilization. From important activities their building 200 miles of canal is most impressive. Scottsdale was founded in about 1894. The name for the town came from Major Winfield Scott. The place has to be planned for the religious and educated settlers and a place just right to help them to raise their families. The place did not developed much and was mainly occupied by rattlesnakes and few artists. The weather for the place were real culprit.
The coming of air condition in the 50's did magic for this place. The place started developing and slowly and gradually, the abandoned place took the face of an urban city. Now Scottsdale is one of the wealthiest
city and has come a long way to have this stature. The place is mainly
known for its great shopping locations and lovely golf
courses.
