Hogging the limelight of [b]Scottsdale, AZ news[/b] is that Cathy Clardy Patterson has become the new chairperson of the governing board for the Scottsdale Cultural Council. She was elected the director of the state Democratic Party in Minnesota. This MBA graduate from Georgetown University and degree in Law form Harvard became the first Afro-American woman to head a fixed-income sales group in Wall Street.
This 48 year old was instrumental in the reform of Scottsdale cultural council. She plans to involve the citizens of Scottsdale in the decision making process of the cultural council.
Close on the heels of the above announcement comes a news item that residents are differing over a construction project which is taking place on 96th Street between Shea Boulevard and Thunderbird Road. The votaries of the project feel that this initiative would improve traffic movement in this area.
